AIA World Cup 2006

“Kickoff2006” is a coalition comprising more than 50 christian organizations and ministries such as AIA, Campus Crusade for Christ of Germany, The Navigators, World Vision, the Salvation Army, YWAM and the German Evangelical Alliance.

The goal of “kickoff2006” is to support local churches and communities in their outreaches and to serve them with their resources, talents and experience.

With the help of “kickoff2006” and 4,000 international short-term missionaries, more than 1,500 local churches are currently planning evangelistic projects like soccer camps, outreaches to the fans or public viewing of the games in churches.

This will be one of the biggest outreaches Germany has seen in a long time. Thousands of Christians are preparing to go into the streets, to reach out to their friends, neighbors and all the international guests – every day, for a whole month.

Standing together in unity, this is going to impact Germany, the participating churches and people from around the world beyond the time of the World Cup.
